Passed away peacefully at ­Carlingview Manor, Ottawa, April 18, 2018 at the age of 96, 3 months before her 97th birthday. ­Ragnfrid Lexow (nee von Krogh), beloved wife of the late Kjell Heiberg Lexow (2004), born in Oslo ­Norway, worked for the Norwegian ­Permanent Delegation to the United ­Nations, New York City, the Norwegian Foreign ­Office in Paris, Montreal and Toronto. They lived their last ­retirement years in Knowlton, Qc.

Loving mother of Kathryn Lexow, now ­residing in Gatineau, Qc. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Nixon (Chardé), my "favourite and only ­grandchild''. Great-grandmother of ­Cédric Alexander Nixon. Dear aunt to Anne Coughlin, Toronto, On, Diane Muir, Burlington, On. and Mona, Lars, Birger and the late Erik (2018) ­Christensen, Oslo, Norway and their families.

Ragnfrid will be sadly missed by her ­family and friends. She will be laid to rest at the Knowlton Cemetery, 178 St. Paul's Rd, on Saturday, May 26 at 11am. ­Following the service, family and friends are invited to a reception to pay their ­respects and celebrate her life, at the Knowlton United Church, Knowlton Rd. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation would be greatly ­appreciated by the family. ­www.fondationbmp.ca
